What fragscout does
Fragscout watches the price of fragrances you choose at online discounters, and emails you when one reaches a price you set. That is the whole service.
We do not sell fragrance. We are not a shop, we take no part in your purchase, and we have no relationship with the retailers we watch. When you buy, you buy from them under their terms.
Prices are observations, not promises
Every price we show is what we read on a retailer’s page at a particular moment. Pages change, go out of stock, price by region, apply codes at checkout, and sometimes publish mistakes. A price you see here may already be gone.
We check on a schedule, not continuously, so an alert can arrive after the price has moved again. We can also miss a drop entirely — a retailer can block us, change their markup, or go down. Do not treat an alert as a guarantee that the price is still available. Check the retailer’s page before you buy.
Your account
One account per person. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
A free account tracks up to ten products. We may change that number, and we will say so before it affects what you already track.
What you post
Sightings and anything else you contribute stay yours. By posting, you let us store and show it to other members for as long as it is on the site.
Do not post anything that is not a genuine price you saw. In particular, no:
- affiliate or referral links dressed up as sightings
- prices you have not actually seen
- links to malware, phishing, or counterfeit goods
- anything unlawful, or anything about another person that is not yours to share
We can remove a post or close an account over this, and we do not owe an explanation first — though you can ask, and we will answer.
What you must not do to us
Do not scrape the site, run it through automated clients, resell what it produces, or try to reach parts of it that are not yours. If you want the data, ask.
Cost
Fragscout is free while it is new. If that changes we will tell you before it costs you anything, and you will hear it from us rather than from a receipt.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time. Your trackers and their price history go with it. We can close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why.
Where we stand
The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that prices are accurate, that alerts arrive, or that the site is available — and we are not liable for what you spend, or do not spend, on the strength of what you read here. Nothing in this section removes a right you have that cannot be removed by agreement.
Changes
We will post a new date at the top when these terms change. If a change matters — cost, or what we do with your data — we will email you rather than leave you to notice.
